What is an MSH file?
Proprietary 3D model mesh format used by Orbiter, a free space flight simulation program; saves the three-dimensional structure of a shuttle, station, or another space object; uses ASCII text formatting and specifies vertices and mesh groups for different parts of the model, as well as the textures (.DDS files) and materials to apply to the model.
MSH files are saved in the \Meshes\ folder of the software installation.

What is an MSH file?
A MSH file is a 3D model created by Godot Engine, a free and open source game engine used to create 2D and 3D games. It stores information about a 3D model in a proprietary format similar to the Wavefront 3D Object format. MSH files are created when a user imports an .OBJ file in Godot Engine as an object when developing a game.
You can import an OBJ file into Godot Engine using the Import 3D Mesh menu or by simply dragging and dropping it a scene, then selecting Import. Godot Engine only creates MSH files when Wavefront 3D OBJ files are imported into the project. If a .DAE, .GLTF, or .GLB model file is imported in Godot Engine, the application creates an .SCN file.
NOTE: MSH files are used in version 2 of Godot Engine but were replaced by .MESH files in version 3 of the application.
