What is an AFPACKAGE file?
An AFPACKAGE file contains an Affinity Document (.AF file) packaged with its resources (fonts, linked images, etc.). By saving AF files as packages, Affinity allows user to transfer the document with their resourcese so they appear the same when opening or printing them by with a separate installation of Affinity on a different computer.

Affinity document files often contain links to images and other assets in a project. To preserve links and images in the document, you can save the project as an AFPACKAGE file. To save a document as a package, select File → Save As Package... from the Affinity application menu bar. When saving the file, you can also choose the fonts and images included in the package.
How to open an AFPACKAGE file
You can open an AFPACKAGE file with Canva Affinity by selecting File → Open. If you still have access to Serif Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, or Affinity Publisher, you can also open AFPACKAGE files with those apps.
