What is a PRO file?
File created by Adobe Proto, an Adobe Touch App used for creating interactive wireframes and website prototypes; can store multiple page layouts, each with interactive elements; supports CSS, WebKit, and jQuery technologies.
Adobe Proto designs can be rendered and viewed within standard Web browsers. Saved projects can be uploaded to the Adobe Creative Cloud and then downloaded in Dreamweaver for more extensive editing.
NOTE: Adobe Proto has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase.

You can create a PRO file in IDL by selecting. You can also select to generate a PRO file from GUIBuilder interface definitions. This option is only available in Windows. You can open the file in IDL or another text editor since the programming language is stored in plain text.
IDL is primarily used in scientific areas, such as medical imaging, atmospheric physics, and astronomy. It is used to visualize complex numerical data in order to help scientists and engineers more easily interpret data.
