An MBX file is a 3D scene exported by Mecabricks, an online tool for LEGO enthusiasts to design scenes with LEGO bricks. You can open MBX files with Mecabricks in a web browser or with Blender in Windows, macOS, or Linux (with the Blender Lite plugin installed). Since MBX files store information in plain text, you can also open them with a text editor, such as Microsoft Notepad (Windows) or Apple TextEdit (macOS). However, opening them with a text editor will not appear the same as opening them with Mecabricks or Blender.
