GPS data file used by iGO software; contains 3D building data and corresponding metadata; saved to the \​iGO\​content\​building\​ directory of the navigation unit's storage card.

Three-dimensional image created using the 3DCT 3D image compression software or the 3DCT modeling software plug-in; contains a compressed 3D image; used for reducing the file size of standard 3D formatted images and sharing them over email, which is useful for design reviews.

3DCT can create 3DC files from several formats, including .STL, .PLY, .OBJ, .3DS, .LWO, .DXF, .VRML, and .OFF. It also can export Rhino .3DM files if the plugin is installed with Rhino.

Three-dimensional scene created by 3DCrafter, a 3D modeling and animation program formerly named 3D Canvas; includes the geometry of the scene and includes shapes, materials, and lighting effects; used for creating 3D images and animations, and may be exported to an .AVI file.

Project file created by RoboCell, a program used for SCORBOT robot modeling and simulation; stores a configuration of 3D robot components in a "workcell;" allows a SCORBASE program to be run visually in a 3D virtual environment.

RoboCell is used for integrating SCOREBASE robotic control software with 3D modeling and simulation capabilities. It is used in educational environments.
