A UDF file is a user-defined function written in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for use in Microsoft Excel. UDF files allow users to create custom formulas that perform calculations not available through Excel’s built-in functions.

Advanced Excel users, analysts, and developers who need reusable or specialized calculations are most likely to create user-defined functions. These users often employ the functions in financial modeling, data analysis, and automation scenarios where consistency and repeatability are important.

Older versions of Microsoft Excel supported UDF files. No other program is known to support UDF files.

A UDF file is a document created by UYAP Doküman Editörü, a Turkish word processor. It contains formatted text and may include tables, charts, images, and other document elements in the UYAP Doküman Format (UDF). UDF files may store letters, resumes, invitations, newsletters, and other documents.

You can open a UDF file with UYAP Doküman Editörü (multiplatform). For example, to open a UDF file with the program, select Aç (the folder icon) in the Dosya tab.
