File used by Return to Zork (RTZ), an old first-person puzzle-solving and adventure game for DOS; saves video for the introduction and cutscenes; located on copies of the original RTZ CD-ROM.

POZNÁMKA: The original RTZ game for DOS can't be played on recent versions of Windows. However, it can be played with emulation software such as DosBox. GOG, an abandonware distributor, created an updated version of RTZ that is playable on Windows XP and Vista.

A PMV file is a computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) file that contains embroidery instructions that tell a Brother sewing machine how to stitch a pattern on a piece of fabric. Only Brother sewing machines with the "My Custom Stitch" feature, such as the NQ3500D or NQ900 models, support PMV files.

The PMV format is one of many file formats used in the embroidering community. Other notable formats include .PES, .DST, .HUS, .VP3, and .JEF.

You can view and edit most embroidery files on a computer with special software, such as PREMIER+ Embroidery or BERNINA ARTlink. However, Brother designed the PMV format to be viewed and edited only on Brother sewing machines with the "My Custom Stitch" feature.

When using the "My Custom Stitch" function, you can design your stitch pattern by entering the X and Y values that correspond to your custom design. As you enter the values, the sewing machine's screen displays the visual of your design.

After completing your design, you can save your pattern to the "Decorative Stitch" memory on your sewing machine. When saving the file, the sewing machine software creates the PMV file to store the stitching instructions, along with copyright information and sewing settings for the pattern.

PMV files are not meant to be opened on a computer. They are only supported by Brother sewing machines with the "My Custom Stitch" feature.

However, you can transfer PMV files from a Brother sewing machine to a computer with a portable USB storage device to store them. You can then transfer the files back to the sewing machine when you want to sew the patterns on your fabric.
