An FZV file is a voice (sound) dumped from a Casio FZ series electronic keyboard. It contains a tone played by a synthesized instrument, such as a flute, trumpet, or piano. Users can dump sounds as FZV files using the FZDUMP utility.

Musicians use Casio FZ series keyboards, including the FZ-1, FZ-10M, FZ-20M, to play synthesized electronic music. Each keyboard can contain up to 64 individual sounds, which may be organized into sound banks.
If a musician wants to export and edit a sound their keyboard contains, they can do so using the FZDUMP Windows utility. FZDUMP saves individual sounds as FZV files. (It saves sound banks as .FZB files and entire sound libraries as .FZF files.)

To play an FZV file, open it in FMJ-Software Awave Studio (Windows). To edit the sound an FZV file contains, open it in Casio FZ Librarian (Windows).
To transfer an FZV file to a Casio FZ series keyboard, connect the keyboard to your PC and use FZDUMP (Windows) to transfer the file.
