An SND file is a sound file used by M.U.G.E.N (or just Mugen), a freeware 2D fighting game engine. It contains WAVE audio data, and is generated from multiple .WAV files. You will most likely only encounter an SND file if you create games with the M.U.G.E.N engine. Audio data stored in SND files include action sound effects, such as punches or kicks, character voice clips, and button clicks.
