EARファイルとは?
An EAR file is an application archive used by Java EE (Enterprise Edition), a platform used for programming server-side software such as web applications. It contains .JAR and .WAR files, which together comprise a Java EE application package. EAR files are used for running the application on a Java EE-enabled server, such as GlassFish Server or Geronimo.
詳細情報
EAR files are similar to .JAR files, but they are packaged for Java EE instead of the Java SE (Standard Edition). Both JAR and EAR files use .ZIP compression, which means you can use Zip decompression programs, such as 7-Zip, to unpack the contents of the files.
注: Java EE application are developed using the Java EE SDK, which can be downloaded from Oracle's website. Java EE adds additional features to Java SE for server programming.

An EAR file is an audio file saved in the Eyemail Audio Recording (EAR) format developed by Eyemail Technology Inc. (ETI). The format was primarily used to store recorded audio in the 2000s by Camcorder 2, a video recording program for Nokia mobile phones. The EAR format is related to the .EYE video format that ETI also develops.
詳細情報
EAR files are obscure since ETI discontinued the EAR format, and Nokia phones no longer save audio as EAR files. However, you may still encounter EAR files if you recorded audio with a Nokia phone, then transferred the EAR files to your computer.
EARファイルの開き方
You can play EAR files with ETI Monet TV in Windows. However, ETI discontinued the software. No other known program supports EAR files.
