CITファイルとは？
A CIT file is a report-writing project created by In8 Cite, a discontinued citation-based investigative report-writing application. It contains a report and a catalog of the supporting documentation and evidence cited in that report. CIT files are created and used primarily by criminal investigators when writing investigative reports that cite documents and other evidence imported into Cite.

After an investigator finishes writing a report, they can export the report and its supporting documentation as a .PDF file. The PDF version of the report will retain the citation links added to the CIT version. The investigator can then share this PDF file with others, so they can review the report.

Intergraph was a software publisher that specialized in creating engineering and geospatial programs, used by governments and enterprise-level businesses. The company's geospatial programs saved images in many variants of the Intergraph Raster (INGR) format.
CIT files are black-and-white INGR images that are compressed using CCITT G3 or G4 compression. Just like .G3 and .GP4 files, CIT files typically contain a copy of a document.
