An SKTZ file is a layered drawing created by Sony Sketch, a discontinued drawing app that was available on Android and iOS. It stores artwork comprised of multiple layers and Sketch elements, such as hand-drawn lines, stickers, and text. SKTZ files are the default file format for saving drawings with Sketch.

SKTZ files are renamed .ZIP archives that store several files inside that describe the drawing project. The files include .JSON and .XML files that store layer and project metadata, along with .JPG and .PNG files that represent the actual image content of each layer.
