What is a CAMTEMPLATE file?
A CAMTEMPLATE file is a project template created by TechSmith Camtasia, a screen recording and video editing application. It stores media files, video edits, and timeline properties that make up the template. CAMTEMPLATE files are similar to .TSCPROJ and .CMPROJ project files, but Camtasia users create them to save videos with content, themes, etc., that they want to replicate.
Camtasia is available for Windows and macOS and allows you to create various screen-capture videos, such as tutorials, video game recordings, and demonstrations. The software comes with templates, but you can download templates from TechSmith's online library or create your own.
