An NLP file is a plain text list of freeware utilities that can be opened in NirLauncher, a Windows utility launcher distributed by NirSoft. You can add a utility to NirLauncher by downloading the utility and dragging and dropping a related NLP file into NirLauncher. You can also add or remove utilities by editing nirsoft.nlp, which is NirLauncher's default utility list.

For example, if you want to be able to launch a Windows utility called MyUtility.exe from within NirLauncher, you can store the utility in ~/nirsoft/MyFolder and then list MyFolder/MyUtility.exe in nirsoft.nlp. Your utility will then appear and be available to launch from within NirLauncher. (You must also list additional details for your utility, following the formatting that nirsoft.nlp's other utilities use.)
The default version of nirsoft.nlp includes a list of over 200 Windows utilities. These are the default utilities included with NirLauncher.
NirLaucher's website includes additional NLP files, which can be used to automatically install additional utilities. For example, sysinternals5.nlp can be used to install the SysInternals Suite utility.
