A VPD file is a diagram created by the Diagram app module available with Visual Paradigm Online. It is saved in the Visual Paradigm Online Diagram (VPD) format and contains diagram elements, such as activities, shapes, images, graphics, and text.

Visual Paradigm Online is the online counterpart to the desktop Visual Paradigm software. The tool allows you to design various artwork and documents, such as diagrams, posters, flyers, infographics, and greeting cards.
After saving a design, you can re-open it with Visual Paradigm Online to continue modifying the design. When saving it, you can choose the location where to save it, including the Visual Paradigm online storage space, Google Drive, and local storage on your device.
Visual Paradigm Online saves artwork in different formats depending on the app modules you are using. For example, if you create a design with the Graphic Design app module, Visual Paradigm Online saves it as an .ART file. However, if you create a diagram with the Diagram app module, Visual Paradigm Online saves it as a VPD file.
