An SIMG file is a disk image file saved in the proprietary Synclavier Disk Image (SIMG) format. It stores a collection of sounds used to compose music with SynclavierX, a digital synthesizer program. An SIMG file is a disk image saved in the Android Sparse Image (SIMG) format. It contains a structured binary image representing a partition on an Android device, such as the system, vendor, or userdata partition. Instead of storing every byte of the partition, the file records only the blocks that contain data and skips empty space, making the image smaller and faster to transfer while still allowing the operating system to recreate the full partition when it is written back to storage.
