.FDC File Extension

An FDC file may also be a 3D model used by FarmD, an explicit VR video game. It contains a humanoid model that resembles a drake, cat, or other sort of animal. FarmD includes several default FDC files, and players can create their own FDC files.

In FarmD, players assume the role of animal-like humanoids and engage in explicit acts. FarmD includes four default player-character models, for drake, gryphon, kobold, and leopard humanoids. These models are saved as FDC files, in the following directory:

~/​FarmD_Data/​StreamingAssets/​Characters

If players are not satisfied with FarmD's default character models, they can create their own using Blender, Unity, and the FarmD Character Importer Unity plug-in. These custom characters are also saved as FDC files.

You can use an FDC file as a character in FarmD (Windows). To do so, place the file in the following directory:

~/​FarmD_Data/​StreamingAssets/​Characters

The character your FDC file contains will then be selectable in-game.

An FDC file may also be a command file used by Solventum Fluency Direct, a speech recognition and clinical documentation program for healthcare professionals. It contains commands Fluency Direct can use to perform actions in supported applications, such as inserting predefined text or completing common computer tasks. Users can use commands to control applications with their voice instead of performing each action manually.

Fluency Direct is designed for clinicians who use speech recognition to create and edit medical documentation in electronic health records (EHRs). Its commands can support tasks such as inserting text snippets, using keyboard shortcuts, clicking controls, navigating an EHR, and performing other workflow actions. Users can create and manage custom commands in Fluency Direct, while the Command Exchange provides downloadable FDC files with commands users can add to the program.

You can open FDC files with Solventum Fluency Direct. The program allows you to access FDC files through the Command Exchange → Commands menu.
