What is an ET file?

An ET file is a spreadsheet created by Kingsoft Spreadsheets, a tool included in the WPS Office suite. It contains a spreadsheet in the form of rows and columns and also supports formulas and charts. ET files are commonly used to organize financial data in balance sheets, expense statements, and invoices.

The ET file is the native spreadsheet format associated with Spreadsheets. However, it can be converted to the more popular .XLS or .XLSX files supported by Microsoft Excel and a number of other spreadsheet programs.

The WPS Office suite is similar to the Microsoft Office suite but is available for free. WPS Office offers three main tools:
