Cartridge file created by NO$CART in order to emulate CPC games on 464plus computers using the CPC 6128 ROMs included in NO$CART; converted from a CPC disk image.
More Information
The CPC (Colour Personal Computer) was first developed by Amstrad in the mid-1980s. Later technological developments by Amstrad included the diskless 464plus computer and the GX4000 game console which used cartridges.
NO$CART converts the .DSK files used by the CPC computer into CPC Plus/GX 4000 cartridges. NO$CART.ROM (included in the NO$CART download) contains a copy of the CPC 6128 BIOS, BASIC, and AMSDOS ROMs that are copied to the first cartridge banks, and the disk image is then copied to the remaining cartridge banks. Using the original 6128 ROM allows the games to use any BIOS functions.
NOTE: Created to be accessed on diskless CPC 464plus computers.
