Session file created by Session Manager, a Mozilla Firefox and Seamonkey extension; contains browser sessions that are comprised of data describing a current state of Firefox such as history, text data, and cookies.

Session Manager automatically, or at the user's command, saves and restores the state of Firefox windows at startup and after crashes. The resulting SESSION files make it possible to easily save and restore data across Mozilla Firefox sessions.

注: SESSION files always start with the string "[SessionManager v2]".

A SESSION file is a session log created by an iOS device, such as an iPhone. It contains diagnostic data recorded by an app or service.

Several iOS apps and services save session logs in SESSION files. Typically, iOS apps and services create SESSION files after a user has encountered a bug. Developers and other advanced users can use these SESSION files to troubleshoot issues with apps or services.

How to view your iDevice's SESSION files

While most users will never need to review their SESSION files, you can access and view them by opening Settings and selecting:

Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data

This will bring up a list of the diagnostic and analytics files stored on your device, which you can then open and view.

How to stop sharing SESSION files with Apple

By default, iDevices share the SESSION files (and other diagnostic files) they create with Apple. If you want to stop sharing SESSION files with Apple:

1. Open Settings on your iDevice.
2. Select Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
3. Disable the Share Analytics setting(s).

SESSION files are not meant to be opened by users. However, you can view your SESSION files and the data they contain from the Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data screen of iOS Settings.
