CAD Rooms is a cloud-based platform designed for designers, engineers, educators, hardware startups, and product teams to store, view, and share 3D models and CAD files. Teams can upload revisions, compare versions, assign responsibilities, and maintain a clear record of design changes over time. Fast local-to-cloud syncing ensures even complex assemblies remain accessible and up to date, while "Time Travel" lets users explore historical versions of any file.

CAD Rooms also supports structured engineering and product development workflows. Features such as Engineering Change Order (ECO) management, Bill of Materials (BOM) tracking, approval workflows, and controlled supplier access help teams govern product changes, maintain traceability, and collaborate securely with external partners. Additionally, collaboration tools, such as 3D annotations, measurements, comments, and shared workspaces, enable teams to communicate clearly and maintain a traceable record of design decisions.
