Wat is een GDM-bestand?
A GDM file is an audio module created for use with the Bells, Whistles, and Sound Boards digital sound library. It contains data that Bells, Whistles, and Sound Boards uses to play a song. GDM files are often found in video games created by MegaZeux.
Meer informatie
Bells, Whistles, and Sound Boards (BWSB) was a DOS-based sound library that video game developers and demoscene enthusiasts used to create and play music in the 1990s. Notably, BWSB was included in MegaZeux, a game creation system that was also available for MS-DOS.
Music created to be played by BWSB was saved as GDM files. These files describe the notes a song contains, how those notes are arranged, and the instruments used to play those notes.

You can open a GDM file with MilkyTracker (multiplatform), Extended Module Player (XMP) (Linux), or Vitamin/CAIG ZXTune (multiplatform). MilkyTracker will automatically convert your GDM file to the .XM format. It will also allow you to edit the song your GDM file contains.
