An AFTEMPLATE file is a template created by Canva Affinity, a graphic design, photo editing, and page layout application. It stores a document, which may include one or more pages or artboards, layers, images, text, shapes, strokes, and other elements. Affinity users create AFTEMPLATE files to store documents with content and settings they want to replicate in other .AF documents.

OPMERKING: Before Canva purchased Serif in 2024, Serif developed separate Affinity applications (Designer, Photo, and Publisher) that all used AFTEMPLATE files. After acquiring Serif, Canva combined the capabilities of the three applications into a single Affinity application.
