注: SDA files were used by StarOffice through version 5. StarOffice 6 adopted the .SXD format, but Apache OpenOffice and Open Office now both use .ODG files for drawings. Apache OpenOffice was previously known as OpenOffice.org.

An SDA file is a database archive created by the Windows version of Star Finanz StarMoney, a personal and business banking application. It contains a user database generated from a user's .SDY and .SDX files, and includes account information, transactions, contacts, and other user data. SDA files are created to archive and back up databases.

StarMoney is developed by Star Finanz, a German-based company. The application is available in personal and business versions, which both may create SDA files.
You can choose whether or not StarMoney creates SDA archives. To do so, select Settings → General → Archiving, then select "Activate Archiving" under "Archiving Settings."
StarMoney generates SDA archives in the following directory, by default (beginning with StarMoney 7.0):
C:\ProgramData\StarMoney [version]\Profile
