PALMファイルとは？
A PALM file is a bitmap image created by a Palm OS mobile device. It may contain a logo, clipart, photo, or other image meant to be shown in a Palm OS application. Different versions of Palm OS produce and use slightly different PALM files.

Palm OS is a discontinued operating system that was used on Palm personal digital assistants (PDAs). The PALM file format is Palm OS's native image format.
Many Palm OS application icons were stored as PALM files. Additionally, users could save images as PALM files in some programs. Versions 0 and 1 of the PALM file format did not support transparency or run-length encoding compression. Versions 2 and 3 did.
注: PALM files are also known as Palm Pilot Bitmap, Palm Pilot Tbmp, or Palm Pixmap images.
