.ISS Estensione file

File used by InstallShield, a program used for creating Windows installers; contains a series of installation settings in a text format; used to submit automated responses during the software installation process so users do not have to enter information into an installation wizard.

ISS files are similar to .INI files.

ISS files cannot be played by most popular media players, so if you want to play the files outside the game in which they are used, you must convert them to a standard audio format.

Funcom Oslo A/S is a Norwegian video game developer that was founded in 1993 and has produced over 50 games. The Longest Journey, which was produced in 1999, is one of Funcom's most popular and well-known games. It is a point-and-click puzzle-solving adventure game that follows the story of April Ryan, a struggling art student who must navigate between and save two parallel universes.

Because ISS files are so uncommon, most popular media players cannot play them. However, you can convert ISS files to a usable audio format using FFmpeg and then play the converted file using a media player such as VLC media player.
