What is a ZS0 file?
File saved by ZSNES, a Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator for PCs; contains a saved state snapshot of an emulated SNES game; used to save and load game progress at any point during a game.

ZSNES provides numerous save states from 0 to 99 (file extensions ZS0, .ZS1, .ZS2, and so on). Users can change the game save state by pressing the "F3" key and using the arrow keys to navigate to one of the 0-9 states, or by selecting the "Pick State" option under the "Game" menu.
NOTE: A ZSNES save state is not the same as an in-game save state. A game may only allow a user to save state when arriving at specific game milestones whereas ZSNES save states can be captured at any time during gameplay.
