What is an SYN file?
Audio document created by SimSynth, a software synthesizer application; contains presets for an audio sample, including oscillator settings, envelopes, filters, and effects; used for creating samples and loops for brass, strings, or other instruments.
SYN files can be exported to .WAV files using SimSynth.
NOTE: SimSynth has been integrated into Image-Line's FL Studio digital audio workstation (DAW), which uses the SimSynth Live plug-in. FL Studio was previously named FruityLoops.
