Software Overview
FL Studio, formerly known as FruityLoops, is a DAW for Windows and macOS. FL Studio enables you to compose, record, edit, and mix music. It is also available as a mobile version for iOS and Android platforms.
FL Studio supports a variety of audio formats, such as WAVE, MIDI, Ogg, and BeatCreator Groove, along with its proprietary song and mobile song formats. The application's playlist can host an unlimited amount of audio recordings and allows you to freely arrange audio. You can create music arrangements by choosing from over 30 synthesizers, such as acoustic bass, synthetic bass, electric guitar, and piano.
Some of the tools provided by the DAW include pitch correction, pitch shifting, time-stretching, beat-detection, harmonization, and audio warping. The DAW is also extensible, allowing to install plugins for additional functionality. You can add instruments, effects, and other functions not included with the application.
FL Studio is a quality DAW and is available in three different editions that provide different features depending on your needs. Each version is reasonably priced for what it offers, which makes FL Studio a tempting choice for producing music.
