An SVSDOWNLOAD file is a temporary file created by Synology Surveillance Station when downloading a recording. One of the features of the Surveillance Station is the ability to download video recorded by cameras and saved in the cloud to a Surveillance Station client installed on a user's computer.
When a user downloads a video recording from Synology's cloud storage, the Surveillance Station installation on the user's computer creates the SVSDOWNLOAD file as a placeholder in the user's downloads folder.
How to open an SVSDOWNLOAD file
