SVSDOWNLOADファイルとは？
An SVSDOWNLOAD file is a temporary file created by Synology Surveillance Station when downloading a recording. It is a placeholder for the downloading recording, similar to a .CRDOWNLOAD file, that Surveillance Station replaces with a video file once the download is complete. Typically, a user will not encounter an SVSDOWNLOAD file unless the download is interrupted.

Synology Surveillance Station is a security solution for homes and businesses that provides video-monitoring capabilities. One of the features of the Surveillance Station is the ability to download video recorded by cameras and saved in the cloud to a Surveillance Station client installed on a user's computer.
When a user downloads a video recording from Synology's cloud storage, the Surveillance Station installation on the user's computer creates the SVSDOWNLOAD file as a placeholder in the user's downloads folder.

SVSDOWNLOAD files are not meant to be opened. Instead, Synology Surveillance Station automatically removes an SVSDOWNLOAD file when the recording download completes. If you encounter an SVSDOWNLOAD file, the download is in progress or was interrupted, leaving the SVSDOWNLOAD file. In this case, you should attempt to re-download the recording via Synology Surveillance Station.
