What is a PSW file?
Password backup file created with Windows' Forgotten Password Wizard; saved on a USB drive, floppy disk, or other media and can be used to reset a password for a Windows user; often uses the filename userkey.psw.

The password reset disk can be used when the Windows login screen appears. Just press Enter or click the right arrow button next to the "Type your password" box. Then select "use your password reset disk." Then insert the password reset disk to reset the user's password.
