What is a PDR file?

Driver file that allows certain USB devices, such as USB flash drives, to be recognized and used by a Windows-based computer; similar to a virtual device driver (.VXD file) used by other hardware.

PDR files may be loaded using Windows' "Add New Hardware" Control Panel. Once the hardware is located, select the PDR file location when prompted.
