What is an IGR file?
Musical notation file created by Igor Engraver, a program used for making musical charts; saves musicians, instruments, and the musical score itself; used for saving compositions; can be played back in the software.
IGR files can be used by both the Windows and Mac versions of Igor Engraver. However, when saving files on Mac, the file may not have an extension. Therefore, to use the file in Windows, add the ".igr" extension.
NOTE: The Mac version of Igor Engraver is only available for Mac OS Classic.

IGR files are always saved with their corresponding .CGR files and have the same prefix filename. If IGR files are missing, the channels are displayed with a default layout and may be difficult to view.
