.ATT File Extension

File created by Web forms when users submit data in a Web browser; contains contents from a Web form that have been emailed to the designated recipient; attached to email messages with the filename postdata.att.

ATT files are commonly received via email when the form encoding type is incorrect. For example, the encoding type (enctype) may be "text" instead of "text/plain."

File used by Alphacam, a program used to create woodworking designs; contains a lathe tool that is specified for a woodworking CAD design; used to store different kinds of lathes.
