An XYT file contains a video effect that can be applied in VivaVideo, a video editor for Android and iOS devices. For example, an XYT file may contain a filter, frame, or transition effect. VivaVideo stores XYT files in various subdirectories of its assets/xiaoying directory.

VivaVideo is a video editor that allows Android and iOS users to add effects, emojis, text, and music to imported videos. Many of the effects and assets that users can add to their videos are saved as XYT files.
Each XYT file is an XML file that contains additional binary data. All XYT files contain a binary file header, and many XYT files contain binary data that describes their included effect or asset.
In some cases, XYT files are instead linked with an associated asset. For example, XYT files used to add music to a video are linked with an associated .M4A audio file.
注: VivaVideo Lite and other QuVideo video editing apps also use effects saved as XYT files.

XYT files are not meant to be opened. However, if you want to view the XML data an XYT file contains, you can do so by opening the file with any text editor.
