A PWB file is a document created by Promethean Whiteboard, an app used to design activities for a Promethean interactive display. It contains a whiteboard activity, which may consist of drawings, images, and annotations. Users sometimes export PWB files from Promethean Whiteboard to share with others.

Promethean is a technology company that produces interactive displays and software for those displays. Each Promethean display includes Promethean Whiteboard, an app used to create interactive whiteboard activities.
After adding images, drawings, and/or annotations to a whiteboard activity, users can save that activity as a PWB file. This allows them to access the activity from their current interactive display. They can also export their PWB file to a USB drive, to share it with other Promethean Whiteboard users.
注: Promethean interactive displays use a modified version of the Android operating system.

You can open a PWB file with Promethean Whiteboard (which is available only on Promethean interactive displays). To do so:
- Place your PWB file on a USB drive and connect the drive to your Promethean display.
- Open Promethean Whiteboard on your display.
- Select the app's three dot menu button.
- Select Open.
- Navigate to and open your PWB file.
如何转换 PWB 文件
You can use Promethean Whiteboard to convert PWB files to the .PDF format. This allows you to share your whiteboard activity's contents with others who do not have access to Promethean Whiteboard.
To export a PWB file as a PDF file:
- Open your PWB file with Promethean Whiteboard.
- Select the app's three dot menu button.
- Select Export PDF Screenshot or Export PDF Canvas.
- Save your PDF file.
