Game file used by emulation software for the Nintendo Family Computer Disk System (also called Famicom Disk System); saves a copy of the original game cartridge data; allows the game to be played on a PC with supporting emulators.

FCEUX can play FDS ROMs if you have the FDS BIOS file loaded (disksys.rom).

Script created with Final Draft screenwriting software and saved as a "Secure Copy;" similar to a regular Final Draft document (.FDR file), but cannot be edited.

FDS files can be opened by Final Draft 5 or later as well as Final Draft Viewer 5.03 or later.

An FDS file contains settings exported from a Free Download Manager, an Internet download management utility. It stores settings that configure the behavior and appearance of Free Download Manager, including the number of maximum connections per server, the maximum upload and download speeds, and the app theme and window size. Free Download Manager users export and import FDS files to share or preserve settings.

You can open an FDS file with Free Download Manager (cross-platform). For example, to open an FDS file with the Windows version of Free Download Manager, click the three-line hamburger icon, select Export/Import, and then click Import settings.
