Kubotek KeyCreator is primarily utilized by professionals in mechanical or industrial engineering industries. It was first known as CADKEY Workshop, but CADKEY was then bought by Kubotek, which renamed the software to KeyCreator in 2003.
KeyCreator comes packaged with several pre-made templates. These CKT files are stored in the following directory:
\Kubotek\KeyCreatorPro[version]\CKT\
You can also create your own CKT templates that can be re-used to create CKD designs. To create a CKT file, select , then choose "KeyCreator Template Files (*.CKT)" from the "Save as type" dropdown menu.
