A BPL file is a log used by TSR Mobile, an Android and iOS app for managing underground pipe and drilling data. It contains plan information for horizontal directional drilling (HDD) that includes the bore path.

TSR Mobile is developed by Subsite Electronics, which specializes in HDD guidance systems for installing and maintaining underground pipe and cable. One of the main features of TSR Mobile is that it can create reports based on .TSL files, which are drill tracking logs generated by a TK Series HDD Guidance System.

A BPL file is a batch plot file created by version 14 or earlier of Autodesk AutoCAD. It contains a list of files to publish to a plotter or printer via AutoCAD. Stored information includes the name of each file or sheet to be published, file type, number of copies to be printed, and the location where the file or sheet is saved.

Autodesk AutoCAD is a computer-aided design CAD) application architects, engineers, and other construction and design professionals utilize to create technical drawings. You can create various 2D and 3D drawings of industrial parts, buildings, vehicles, furniture, and other items with AutoCAD.

The main purpose of BPL files is to allow you to save lists of files you commonly publish to printers or plotters. This helps you save time so you do not have to recreate the list of files each time.

注: AutoCAD supported BPL files up to version 14, then replaced BPL files with .BP3 files.

You can open BPL files with version 14 or earlier of Autodesk AutoCAD. Recent versions of AutoCAD do not support BPL files.
