Software Overview
LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 is a program that allows you to manage your Hero robot. It replaced MINDSTORMS NXT in September of 2013.
The software allows you to pick a Hero robot and a mission for the robot. Each mission consists of an objective you must complete by building the physical robot and commanding it. The program also allows you to download additional robots and missions if you have completed all of the available missions.
The LEGO software can be used by kids and adults but is geared mainly to young teens. The software provides some fun and challenging objectives for a variety of Hero robots. LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 is a must-have application for kids looking to interact with their hero robots.
