Dolphin is a free and open source emulator of the Nintendo GameCube and Wii video game consoles as well as the Triforce arcade system board. It is the only emulator that is able to run commercial Wii games.
Dolphin is a great emulator for playing GameCube and Wii games on a computer. It allows you to skip menus and get right to your game. Dolphin also has the ability to improve the resolution of games so that you can play them in HD. If you have a 3D monitor or television, you can also experience emulated games in 3D utilizing Nvidia 3D Vision.
If you wish to play your favorite GameCube or Wii games on a computer, Dolphin is a great choice for doing so. It can even improve your gaming experience by giving you shortcuts to gameplay and upgrading the resolution of graphics. However, if you enjoy the experience of using a console, then there is no need for installing the Dolphin emulator on your computer.
