SmartSketch was originally developed by FutureWave as a basic drawing program and was the predecessor of FutureSplash Animator. Macromedia bought FutureWave in 1996 and rebuilt FutureSplash Animator as Macromedia Flash, which is now Adobe Flash.

UWAGA: SmartSketch 95 is a different program than Intergraph SmartSketch, a newer technical drawing program.
