Wat is een SNTM-bestand?

An SNTM file is a network map created by SolarWinds Network Topology Mapper, an application for managing LAN and WAN networks. It contains a network configuration based on a scan, including nodes connected to a network and their performance analytics.

SolarWinds replaced LANsurveyor with Network Topology Mapper to create and manage network maps necessary for organizations to be PCI compliance requirements. IT professionals can create complete network maps based on scans performed with Network Topology Mapper, then save them as SNTM files or export them to another format.

To create an SNTM file with Network Topology Mapper, select File → Save or Save As.... After saving an SNTM file, you can close the map, then re-open it to modify it further.

Network Topology Mapper can convert SNTM files to various file types, including the following formats:

.PDF - Portable Document Format

To convert an SNTM file with Network Topology Mapper, select File → Export.
