Wat is een FXT-bestand?
Text message file used by Grand Theft Auto with the CLEO GxtHook.cleo plug-in installed; saved in a plain text format and contains a text message that is sent to the player during GTA gameplay; used for pager and phone texts in the game.

In order to display text messages in GTA, FXT files must be saved to the \CLEO_TEXT\ directory within the CLEO installation folder.
OPMERKING: CLEO is a set of Dynamic Link Libraries (.DLL files) that have the file extension ".cleo." The GxtHook.cleo library must be installed in order for FXT files to be loaded into the game.

You can export an actor template from a currently opened actor by choosing Actor → Export Template from the application menu.

An FXT file is a plug-in used by the Windows version of MakeMusic Finale, a popular music notation program. It contains a feature that a composer can use while creating or editing a musical score. Finale includes many default FXT files.

Composers use MakeMusic Finale to create, edit, play back, and share musical scores. While creating a score, composers can select Plug-ins to view a list of available Finale plug-in features. In the Windows version of Finale, each of these features is saved as an FXT file.
By default, Finale stores FXT files in the following directory:
~/MakeMusic/Finale ##/Plug-ins
Advanced users can create their own Finale plug-ins, to add additional features to the program. Finale's online documentation contains information about how to create and use custom plug-ins.
OPMERKING: In macOS, Finale plug-ins are saved as .BUNDLE files.
Een FXT-bestand openen
FXT files are not meant to be manually opened. The Windows version of MakeMusic Finale automatically loads FXT files at startup. To access your Finale plug-ins, select Plug-ins from the program's menu bar.
