Artifex Mundi is a Polish video game developer that primarily produces 2D hidden object and puzzle adventure (HOPA) games. Many of these games are developed using the publisher's proprietary Spark Casual Engine.
Games developed using Spark Casual Engine save game assets in CUB archives. While these archives are not meant to be opened by players, some modders have created tools that allow them to extract the assets CUB files contain.
OPMERKING: Artifex Mundi has licensed the Spark Casual Engine to other developers, so some non-Artifex Mundi HOPAs also include CUB files.
