An XT file is a single audio track created by the Triton Fasttracker 2, an audio tracker for MS-DOS. It stores a track that includes one or more patterns. Fasttracker 2 users can arrange multiple tracks to create a full song (.XM module).

Fasttracker 2, or Fasttracker II, is an audio tracker that allows you to arrange patterns in tracks along a master timeline to create a sequence that makes up a song. You can save patterns as .XP files and save the tracks containing the patterns as XT files.
注: Triton Productions released Fasttracker 2 in November 1994. The company developed the software through version 2.08, releasing it in August 1997, then discontinued development.
