Program file used by SPSS, a statistical analysis application; saved in a plain text format and contains instructions written using the SPSS syntax; generally developed with the SPSS Syntax Editor; used for manipulating datasets and automating statistical analyses.

To run an SPS file, choose File → Open → Syntax..., select your SPS file, and then choose Run → All after the file is opened. You can also step through SPS files using the Run → Step Through option, or run a selection of the file by choosing Run → Selection.

注: Since SPS files contain plain text, they can be created or modified with any text editor. They also sometimes can be created with in-game editors, such as the Speaker Editor within Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
