A BR5 file is a 3D scene or animation created with DAZ 3D Bryce 5, a program for creating virtual three-dimensional environments. It contains information about a scene and its objects, such as buildings, people, or animals, in the proprietary Bryce Scene format. Bryce (version 5) users save scenes as BR5 files when creating landscapes with realistic natural elements, such as water, ground, and sky, with real-world lighting effects.

注: Metacreations initially developed Bryce, which Corel later purchased, then released version 5. DAZ Productions later bought Vryce and released version 6.
