As a developer is working on a bot in Scratch for Discord, they can save their progress in an S4D file. S4D files can be used to load an in-process Scratch for Discord project, run a bot through Scratch for Discord (by selecting the Run button found in the program's upper right-hand corner), or download a bot in order to host it on your own computer or Virtual Private Server.

You can open an S4D file with Scratch for Discord, an online application. After navigating to Scratch for Discord, select to open your S4D file.
To download the bot contained within an S4D file, open the file in Scratch for Discord and then select the Download button located in Scratch for Discord's upper right-hand corner. The bot will download as a .ZIP archive, which you can decompress to access the bot's component files.
